It’s Time Paula Got the Honor She Deserves

It’s Time Paula Got the Honor She Deserves

This morning, my wife Paula was honored at a breakfast called, “A Breakfast For Champions.”  Everyone around her table was there to let her know how special she is and she is an incredibly special lady.  Here is a lady who was married at eighteen, raised in an ordinary family in a small town, and yet has grown to be one of the smartest, most intelligent, most godly, kind, generous people I’ve ever known.  She also happens to be my wife, my best friend.

What you need to know about me that would matter in your own life as it relates to Paula, is this truth: the love of a good woman can save a man in just about every way there is to be saved.

So if you’re married to a guy who needs a little work and a little saving, don’t give up because one day people will honor you for your courage, your grace, your grit, and your determination.

You know what a man needs?  He doesn’t need someone to push around or dominate.  He needs someone his equal.  As a matter of fact in the book of Genesis when God said He made Adam a mate, it literally means that He made someone his equal, someone suitable; different so they could complete each other, but same, so they could live in harmony.

I thank God for my wife.  She has loved me, believed in me, and saved me.  And in the darkest moments of my life, she has been there.  Here is the truth: there is not one good memory in my brain that doesn’t have her picture in it. For that I am incredibly thankful.

If you are, let the woman in your life know now, today.
